On behalf of the Indian Association for Haemophilia & Applied Disorders (IAHAD) and Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders-Asia Pacific (AHAD-AP), we thank everyone involved in organizing the 4th Annual Scientific Meeting which was held from 6th- 8th September, 2024 at Bengaluru (India).
The meeting was attended by over 420 healthcare providers from 23 countries/ regions/ territories, and over 84 abstracts were received. The pre-meeting one-day workshop on Comprehensive Care and two-day Laboratory and Musculoskeletal management of haemophilia was held on 6th & 7th September at the same venue.
We believe that our diverse and dynamic group of speakers provided in-depth insight and information on the topics along with the current updates.

Welcome to AHAD-AP Annual Scientific Meeting 2024!
Dear Colleagues,
We are thrilled to welcome you to the 4th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders - Asia-Pacific (AHAD-AP) in collaboration with the Indian Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (IAHAD) and hosted by the department of Clinical Haematology, St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru, India.
The National Haemostasis Update (NHU) of IAHAD will take place on the 6th of September followed by the Annual Scientific Meeting of AHAD-AP on 7th and 8th September. These two separate scientific meetings are being held sequentially with complementary programs. All participants are therefore invited to attend both meetings. We are also conducting one pre-meeting workshop on 5th September and two workshops concurrently on 6th and 7th September.
Our scientific program has been carefully curated to present:
- The latest advancements in research and management of haemophilia and other hereditary disorders of hemostasis.
- Multidisciplinary sessions with specialized workshops on clinical care, diagnosis and musculoskeletal management.
- Networking opportunities: Explore advancements, share experiences, enhance knowledge and strengthen collaborations.
We believe this program will offer a valuable opportunity to explore the latest advancements in the field, share experiences, enhance knowledge, and strengthen collaborations. We would also like to use this platform to thank our sponsors whose support has made this event possible.
