Dear Colleagues,
Very warm greetings from the Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders-Asia Pacific (AHAD-AP).
One of the cornerstones for improving standards of care for PWH is continued education for all medical professionals involved in haemophilia care in Asia-Pacific. AHAD-AP has been organizing workshops on Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia, Laboratory diagnosis and Musculoskeletal Management of Haemophilia over the past years.
AHAD-AP is planning to organise three parallel workshops on the 13th and 14th of September at Chulalongkorn University Bangkok Thailand, co-hosted by Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Division, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. This will be followed by the 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting on the 15th & 16th September in Bangkok.
Our aims for the workshops are to strengthen and broaden knowledge and skills in diagnosis, assessment and planning care for people with haemophilia (PWH) by a comprehensive care team. The target audience are clinicians, nurses and allied health care professionals involved in the care of haemophilia from across the Asia Pacific region.

- Eligible only for AHAD-AP Members. To become a member, click here
- Interested health care providers involved with the care of haemophilia and members of AHAD-AP can apply to attend the workshops, with a recommendation from the head of the Haemophilia Treatment Center.
- Application is closed now.
- As the seats are very limited, all applications will be reviewed, and the final selected participants will receive a formal invitation letter from AHAD-AP by 31st July 2023.
- Support for travel and accommodation (full or partial) will be available for those requiring it. As funds are limited, we urge you to also look for alternative funding sources.

1. Involved with haemophilia care. 2. Recommended by HTC incharges and invited by AHAD-AP. 3. As a basic course, preference will be given to emerging HTCs and HCPs starting careers in haemophilia care. 4. Should not have attended the in-person CCH/MSK/Lab workshops of 2023. 5. Preferably a member of AHAD-AP. 6. Comfortable with spoken and written English. 7. For Lab Workshop, the lab should at least fulfil one of the below: a) More than 10 PT and APTT per week but not doing mixing studies. b) More than 10 PT and APTT per week and doing mixing studies. c) Doing PT, APTT, mixing studies and factor assays but no inhibitor testing |
