Dear Colleagues,

Very warm greetings from the Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders-Asia Pacific (AHAD-AP).

AHAD-AP is planning for a virtual workshop on Advanced Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (CCH) over 3 sessions on 13th, 20th and 27th May 2023, focusing on Nursing on the first session (13th May), Comprehensive Care on the second session (20th May) and musculoskeletal management of haemophilia on the third session (27th May).

Our aims for the workshop are to strengthen and broaden knowledge and skills in diagnosis, assessment and planning care for people with haemophilia (PWH) by a comprehensive care team. The target audience are clinicians, nurses and allied health care professionals involved in the care of haemophilia from across the Asia Pacific region.

In response to recent feedback on our virtual meetings, we have planned short “sharp” sessions with emphasis on core principles of haemophilia management and opportunities for discussion.

This set of advanced CCH workshops is one of two sets of workshops AHAD-AP organizes and a follow up to the Basic set that was held in March 2022.

This virtual workshop will also function as a premiere to the training workshops that AHAD-AP will be hosting later this year in Bangkok, Thailand.
