The APHWG organized a workshop on laboratory diagnosis of bleeding disorders with special focus on haemophilia in collaboration with the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) and the National Health Laboratory (NHL), Yangon, Myanmar from October 9-11, 2017.
The international participants were identified by regional program managers of the WFH and local participants by NHL. 28 participants representing 8 countries of the Asia Pacific region participated in the workshop and hailed from professional background of Medical laboratory technology, pathology, lab sciences.

The main training faculty was Dr. Tulasi Geevar from the Christian Medical College, Vellore, India along with technical personnel from the sponsor.

The program was supported by Stago Diagnostica.
