The AHAD-AP organized a 2 days virtual workshop on Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Advanced) on 18th May and 01st June 2024.
The overall theme of the virtual workshop this year is “Care of the Adolescent with Haemophilia”. The Comprehensive Care training program focussing on Nursing, Comprehensive Care and Musculoskeletal Management of Haemophilia has brought together multi-disciplinary health professionals from the Asia Pacific region, to share experiences, learn together and develop skills in the care of Persons with Haemophilia (PWH).
In response to recent feedback on our virtual meetings, we have planned short “sharp” sessions with emphasis on core principles of haemophilia management and opportunities for discussion.
The aim for the workshop is to strengthen and broaden knowledge and skills in diagnosis, assessment and care planning for people with haemophilia (PWH) by a comprehensive care team.
A total of 649 participants registered for the workshop from 25 Asia Pacific countries and regions. The virtual CCH workshop had a total attendance of 441 with 187 attendees on Day 1 and 260 attendees present on Day 2.
