Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Basic), Virtual Workshop
The AHAD-AP organized a 2 days virtual workshop on Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Basic) on 12th and 19th March 2022.
The Comprehensive Care training program including the Management of Musculoskeletal Management of Haemophilia, has brought together multi-disciplinary health professionals from the Asia Pacific region, to share experiences, learn together and develop skills in the care of Persons with Haemophilia (PWH).
In response to recent feedback on our virtual meetings, we have planned short “sharp” sessions with emphasis on core principles of haemophilia management and opportunity for discussion. We planned to provide two sets of workshops, Basic and Advanced in 2022.
The aim of the workshop was to strengthen and broaden knowledge and skills in diagnosis, assessment and planning care for people with haemophilia (PWH) by a comprehensive care team, with opportunity to share experiences and learn from one another and develop skills in the care of PWH.
A total of 537 participants registered for the workshop from 22 Asia Pacific countries and regions. The virtual CCH workshop had a total attendance of 287, with 235 attendees on Day 1, and 161 attendees present on Day 2.
