Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Basic)
March 12, 2022 - March 19, 2022
Virtual Workshop
Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Basic)
12th & 19th March 2022
The Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders-Asia Pacific (AHAD-AP) is delighted to welcome you to the Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Basic) Virtual Workshop on the 12th and 19th of March 2022 with focus on the first day (12th March) to include nursing and the second (19th March) musculoskeletal management of haemophilia.
The Comprehensive Care training program for Haemophilia has brought together multi-disciplinary health professionals from the Asia Pacific region, to share experiences, learn together and develop skills in the care of Persons with Haemophilia (PWH).
At this time when many continue to fight the COVID 19 pandemic, we have chosen to conduct the workshop on a virtual platform.
Although this limits our direct interactions, we shall explore different opportunities to share, teach and learn. There will be opportunity for interactive discussion with participants attending in real-time and faculty support provided online for those who subsequently stream the sessions.
Our aim in organizing the workshop is to strengthen and broaden knowledge and skills in diagnosis, assessment and planning care for people with haemophilia (PWH) by a comprehensive care team. The target audience are the clinicians, nurses and allied health care professionals involved in the care of haemophilia from across the Asia Pacific regions and countries.
In response to recent feedback on our virtual meetings, we have planned short “sharp” sessions with emphasis on core principles of haemophilia management and opportunity for discussion. We shall provide two sets of workshops, Basic and Advanced in 2022.
The basic set of workshops will be held on 12th and 19th March 2022, followed by the advanced set of workshop in the third quarter of the year.
