2024 May 10: Sukesh C Nair: WFH International Healthcare Volunteer Award

Established in 2004, the WFH International Healthcare Volunteer Award honours a healthcare professional who has contributed significantly to furthering the mission and goals of the WFH in a volunteer role. Candidates for this award include doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, dentists, and other health professionals, who provide care and treatment to people with inherited bleeding disorders.

The award is given every two years at the WFH World Congress.

During the WFH 2024 World Congress, Dr. Sukesh Nair was awarded the WFH International Healthcare Volunteer Award for his commitment to patient care, education, global healthcare enhancement and external quality control.
